The Federation of Tamil Sangams of North America (FeTNA) will host its grand FeTNA 2026 Convention in New Jersey on July 2, 3, and 4, 2026, in collaboration with New Jersey Tamil Peravai (NJTaP).
This landmark event marks the return of the FeTNA convention to New Jersey after 10 years, bringing together thousands of Tamils from across North America to celebrate language, literature, arts, and culture.

Founded in 1987, FeTNA is the umbrella organization representing Tamil Sangams and associations across the United States and Canada. Each year, FeTNA hosts a national convention in partnership with a regional Tamil Sangam, highlighting Tamil excellence, global unity, and cultural pride.
The FeTNA convention is North America’s largest Tamil gathering — featuring cultural performances, youth leadership forums, literary discussions, academic presentations, business summits, and community recognition programs.

FeTNA 2026 will be jointly hosted by FeTNA and NJ Tamil Peravai (NJTaP) — one of the largest and most active Tamil organizations in New Jersey.
NJTaP, representing Tamil families, Tamil schools, and community leaders statewide, is bringing together other New Jersey Tamil Sangams to make FeTNA 2026 a truly inclusive celebration.
The event will bring together participants from across the U.S., Canada, Europe, and India, showcasing New Jersey’s vibrant Tamil community spirit.
